ALLIANCE SPOTLIGHT

COURTNEY MATTISON

Courtney Mattison is an internationally acclaimed artist and ocean advocate who creates detailed, large-scale ceramic sculptures, expressing the delicate beauty of the ocean and highlighting the impacts of climate change.  Her site-specific commissions have been installed in a wide range of settings including galleries, retail and policy spaces – including at Dior and within the United Nations.

Her work will feature at Iris van Herpen’s upcoming show ‘Sculpting the Senses’ at the Brooklyn Museum from May 16th to December 6th. 

MESSUMS GALLERIES

Messums ORG, founded by Johnny Messum in 2016, is a socially engaged arts organisation connecting artists and communities across venues in the West and East of England and in London, working across visual art, performance and film. 

Their latest collaboration takes Tessa Campbell Fraser’s Whales – A Deeper Dialogue to AALTOSIILO in Oulu, Finland, as part of the Oulu 2026 European Capital of Culture programme.

EM THE MASTER

Em the Master performing

Em Hoggett aka. EM The Master is a critically-acclaimed music artist, actress, writer, director, classical pianist, scuba diver, freediver and activist.

On World Ocean Day (June 8th) Em will take her acclaimed one woman show ‘DIVE’ to the SS Great Britain in Bristol. This bold, original performance blends sharp comedy, storytelling, music and theatre to bring the ocean to life on stage. An ongoing project, DIVE’s mission is to spread ocean awareness, empathy and to inspire and empower individuals to take action across the globe. You can buy tickets here!
